If you’ve ever driven down Hiran Magri Main Road, you’ve probably passed right by us without thinking much of it. We are tucked into a spot where the traffic is always moving. Inside, it’s a different world of quiet work and the hum of the large-scale printers. We call it a Kendra because it’s really just a center for maps and house plans. There are rolls of ammonia prints and digital sheets stacked in the corners. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down. People come in with sketches on scraps of paper or just ideas in their heads, and we spend the hours turning those into something a builder can actually use. It’s a lot of double-checking numbers and making sure the stairs will actually fit where they’re supposed to go. We’ve got a couple of old computers that have seen better days but they still run the software we need. Lunch is usually eaten right at the desk while looking over a site plan. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The floor is usually covered in little bits of paper from the trimmer. We know the local shopkeepers around here, and it feels like a real community. We keep the doors open through the day and just focus on getting the measurements right.
