We have been here in Ashiwani Bazar for a while now, tucked into units 26 and 27. It is a busy part of Udaipur, especially in the mornings when everyone is opening their shops and the noise from the street starts coming up to the windows. The office isn’t anything fancy, just a place where we get through the daily tasks and handle the piles of papers that seem to grow every week. Sometimes the heat in Rajasthan gets a bit much, but we have our fans running and just keep at it. People come in from the main Udaipur Ho area, often looking for a bit of help with their files or just to drop off some documents they forgot earlier. There is a lot of back and forth, phone calls ringing at odd hours, and the sound of the printer that has been with us for years. It is a simple setup really. We know the neighbors around here and sometimes share a tea when things are slow in the afternoon. Usually, though, it is just about staying focused on what needs to get done before the day ends. The location is convenient because it is right in the heart of the market, though parking can be a real headache if you arrive after ten. We just try to stay organized, keep the desks somewhat clear, and make sure we don't lose track of anything important. It’s a quiet life of work in a noisy city.
