About Manish Kumawat Architects – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Udaipur
Manish started this thing on Ambamata Road near the temple. Being an architect in Udaipur is interesting because of all the old buildings and the new stuff going up. We spend a lot of time drawing and looking at site plans. The office isn't anything special, just some big tables and a few computers. It’s right near Ambamata Temple, so we hear the bells and the traffic all day long. It's a busy spot. We aren't the type to wear suits. Usually, we are just in dusty boots from visiting a site or covered in ink from a pen that leaked. We deal with houses, renovations, and whatever else people need built. Sometimes people come in with just a rough idea on a napkin and we try to make sense of it. It’s a lot of back and forth. Building things in Rajasthan has its own set of problems with the heat and the stone, but we figure it out as we go. We’ve been here in Udaipur for a while now. The team is small, just a couple of us who actually enjoy looking at bricks and mortar. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they saw a house we worked on or a friend told them where the office was. It’s a practical way to run a business. We stay busy enough and that is just fine by us. It is good to see projects go from paper to real life.
