Madhugiri Taluk Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our office is located at No.644, Kempchowdaiah, Chowdeshwari Nilaya. We are in the New K. R. Extension, right behind the DDPI office in Madhugiri. This is Bangalore Rural, pin code 572132, in Karnataka. Madhugiri Taluk Farmer Producer Company Limited is a bit of a long name, so we just think of ourselves as the local group here. Being behind the government office makes it easy for people to find us if they are already in town for paperwork. The building is called Chowdeshwari Nilaya, and it has a nice feel to it. It is not a corporate building with glass walls. It is more like a regular house converted for our use. We have a lot of farmers coming in and out throughout the week. They come from different parts of the taluk to talk about their crops and what is happening in the fields. We sit around, drink some tea, and handle the business of the producer company. It gets a bit dusty on the road sometimes, but that is normal for this part of the state. We have been working from this extension for some time now. It’s a quiet enough street except when the schools nearby let out. We are just a bunch of people trying to keep the farming side of things organized for everyone involved in the group. We are happy to stay in Madhugiri because it is central for the farmers we work with.
