Applied Engg & Tecnology Pvt.Ltd is another one of those shops tucked away in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. We are specifically over on the 2nd Main Road in the 2nd Sector, at plot Sp99. If you spend any time in Ambattur, you get used to the grit and the constant hum of industry. Our place is no different. It’s a functional engineering space. We have our lathes and our various machines all lined up, and there’s always a fine layer of metal dust on the floor no matter how much we sweep. The 2nd Sector is a busy spot, and we are surrounded by other engineering firms doing similar work. We aren't here to make things look pretty; we are here to make things that work. The office part of the building is just a small corner with a couple of old computers and some filing cabinets that haven't been organized in years. We know where everything is, though. The humidity in Chennai can make the workshop feel like an oven by three in the afternoon, so we usually take a short break for some cold water or soda then. We don’t spend money on marketing or fancy brochures. Most people find us because they know we are here at Sp99. It’s a straightforward life of engineering, fixing things, and making sure we finish what we started. We’re just local people doing a job we know well every day.
