VEENA FABRICS

VEENA FABRICS is located at No. 5, Thattan Thottam, just off Palladam Road. It’s a busy area, especially with all the textile stuff going on around here. If you walk into our place, the first thing you notice is the smell of the fabric. It’s a dry, dusty sort of smell that stays with you. Rolls of cloth are stacked up high, and the sound of the shears cutting through heavy material is something you hear all day. We aren't a big showroom with mannequins and bright lights. This is more of a working space where things get moved, measured, and sent off. The floors are concrete and the lighting is just enough to see what you're doing. Most of the people have been here for years, so not much talk is needed to know what needs to be done. We just get on with it. Palladam Road is always humming with traffic, and sometimes it's a bit of a struggle to get the delivery trucks in and out of the narrow space. But we manage. It’s been like this for a long time. There is no website with fancy photos or a person to answer emails all day. Being usually too busy with the actual fabric, we don't worry about that. It’s just how we run things here at Veena Fabrics, keeping it simple and local.
