Down at 10, 2nd Street on Avinashi Road, you’ll find Jai Kumaran Diesel Curing. We are situated right in Kumarnagar specifically in the Asher Nagar section. It is a busy little spot and there is always the smell of diesel and grease in the air which I guess is expected for what we do. We spend most of our time working on engines and parts that need fixing or curing. It is the kind of work that leaves you with dirt under your fingernails at the end of every shift. The shop on 2nd Street is usually full of various components waiting to be looked at. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or air conditioning in the back where the real work happens. It gets hot during the summer months but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. People in Asher Nagar know us as the place to go when their diesel systems are acting up. We have been on Avinashi Road for a long time and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. But our little shop stays pretty much the same. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe a mechanical job. We just fix what is broken and try to do it right the first time. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
