Abhinaya Apparel Machines

You can find us over at Palayakadu 3rd Street in K.V.R. Nagar. Our building is 32/15-A, right on Mangalam Road. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of traffic passing by. We deal with apparel machines, so the shop is usually full of sewing setups, motors, and spare parts. It’s not the cleanest place because there’s always a bit of grease and metal shavings around from the repairs we do. People from the local garment shops come by when their equipment stops working. We spend a lot of time taking things apart and putting them back together. It’s the kind of work where your hands stay dirty most of the day. We have a small counter at the front where we talk to customers, but most of the action happens in the back. The street can be quite noisy with all the bikes and trucks, but we don’t mind. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the neighbors all know what we do. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for our tracking; it’s mostly just notebooks and memory. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for a small shop like ours. If you need a specific part for an old machine, we probably have it buried in a box somewhere. We just like fixing things and keeping the local shops running. It is a noisy, oily, but useful job.
