Sriannamalai Printers

You can find us on Kamaraj Street in Karampalyam, right across from the old Prema Theater. It’s a familiar landmark for everyone in this neighborhood. Sriannamalai Printers has been here for years, and we’ve seen the theater change and the street get busier over time. Our shop is filled with the smell of ink and the sound of printing presses running. It’s a bit of a cramped space because we have a lot of paper stock and machinery squeezed in. We do all kinds of printing work, from wedding cards to local flyers and business stationery. Most of our customers are people from the nearby houses or small shop owners who need some bills printed. We don’t have a fancy design studio. Usually, people just bring in a rough idea or an old sample, and we figure it out together at the counter. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. My son helps with the digital work now, which is a big change from how we used to do things with the old plates. We take pride in just getting the colors right and making sure the text is clear. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the night fixing them to meet a deadline. That’s just part of the job. We aren't a big corporation, just a local print shop trying to do right by the people here in Karampalyam.
