Kani Arabian Restaurant

We’ve been here on Thanjai Main Road in Tiruverambur for a while now. Most people in Trichy know this stretch is always busy with traffic and people going about their business. Kani Arabian Restaurant isn't anything fancy, just a place where we cook every day. The kitchen gets hot, especially in the afternoons, but that is just part of the job. We start early getting the meat ready and making sure the spices are right. Tiruverambur is a good spot because there are always folks passing through. Sometimes the tables get a bit wobbly or we run out of a specific dish before dinner, but we just do what we can. It’s a lot of work running a kitchen here. We see the same faces every week, mostly people living nearby or working on the main road. The 620013 area has changed over the years, but we stay pretty much the same. We don’t spend much time on decorations or fancy menus. We just focus on the fire and the food. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the sounds of the road mixed with the noise from our kitchen. It’s loud and it’s messy sometimes, but it’s how we live. We aren't trying to be the most popular place in Trichy, just a place that’s open when you’re hungry. The staff here has been around for a bit, and we all know the routine by heart now. It is just the way things are done here every single day.
