Sahara Impex

Sahara Impex is located at 9d Thatcher Street, right across from the A. G. Church in Mattakkadai. If you are looking for us, the church is the best way to find the building. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the street change a lot over the years. The sound of the church bells is something we hear every day, and it sort of marks the time for us. Our office is a simple one, nothing too flashy. We have a desk that’s a bit wobbly and some chairs that have seen better days. It gets pretty dusty because of the traffic on Thatcher Street, so we are always wiping down the tables. We handle a lot of import stuff, so there are usually boxes piled up in the corner waiting to be sorted. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we make it work. Most days it is just us working through the list of orders and talking to the transporters. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they saw the sign while walking to the church. It is a busy little corner of the world, and we are just happy to be a part of the local community here in Mattakkadai. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before the sun goes down.
