Maris Exim

Maris Exim is located right here at No. 37 in C G Colony, specifically on 5th Street. It’s a residential-turning-commercial kind of neighborhood, so it feels quite local. We’ve been running this import-export business out of this office for a few years. It’s not a massive warehouse, but we make the most of the space we have. Most days you’ll find us sitting around the main table going over shipping manifests or talking to vendors on the phone. It gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how we work. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our regular clothes working through a pile of documents. We try to keep things simple. Shipping goods back and forth involves a lot of waiting for people to get back to us, so there is some downtime mixed with very busy periods. We’ve had to learn the ropes as we went along. Not everything was easy at the start, and we still have days where things go sideways with a delivery. But we’ve stayed here on 5th Street because the location is convenient for us. We just focus on getting the tasks done and making sure the items get to where they are supposed to go without too much trouble. It is a practical way to earn a living.
