You can find Kr Exports & Import on East Street over in Vallakulam, which is in Srivaikundam. It’s a small operation, mostly run by a couple of us who have lived in this area for years. We aren't a big company with a flashy website or a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on moving goods in and out. The building on East Street is pretty old, but it serves us well enough for storing files and keeping a small inventory. Most of our day is spent talking to people on the phone or visiting local sites to check on products. Srivaikundam is a quiet place, and we like the pace here. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Usually, we're just in our everyday clothes, ready to get our hands dirty if we need to help with loading. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't really have a big plan for global expansion; we just want to do our jobs well and keep things running. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the computers, but we’re used to it. We know most of the people on East Street by name. It’s a very local feel here. We handle a mix of different items depending on the season and what people need.
