Excel Impex Thoothukkudi

Our office is right on South Cotton Road in Thoothukkudi. We are on the first floor of 117/a. Being in this town, you can always smell the sea and the salt. It’s a busy place with all the trucks moving toward the port. Excel Impex has been here for a while. The office isn't very large, and the stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying big boxes up is always a bit of a task. We usually have the fans running full blast because it gets so humid here during the day. Most of our work involves checking manifests and talking to the folks down at the harbor. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of salespeople. It’s just us and the phones. We see a lot of the same drivers every week. Sometimes we sit out on the small balcony area just to see what’s happening on the street below. South Cotton Road is always full of activity, which keeps us on our toes. We handle whatever comes our way, whether it's a small order or something bigger. It’s a practical business. We don’t make big promises we can’t keep. We just try to get the containers on the ships on time and hope for the best with the weather. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know and how we spend our days.
