Jeyalakshmi Exim

Our office is located at No. 3/61- U Teikulam Bazar. Being in the bazar means there is always something going on right outside the door. Jeyalakshmi Exim is where we handle all our export and import details. It’s a lot of paperwork, to be honest. We spend hours looking at forms, checking shipping dates, and making sure everything matches up with the regulations. The room isn't very large, and we have shelves stacked high with files from over the years. Teikulam Bazar is a lively place to be, and we often hear the shouting of vendors and the rumble of carts passing by. We don't have a big corporate sign, just a small one so people know they’ve found the right door. It gets quite warm in here, so we usually have the window open, even if it brings in the noise from the street. We’re just a small team trying to get things from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the port, and those are the days we spend mostly on the phone, trying to figure out what happened. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing all at once. We like the energy of the bazar, though. It feels like we’re right in the thick of things. We just do our work, drink our tea, and head home when the bazar starts to quiet down for the night.
