We are based in Sundarakkottai, right on the Edaiyarnatham Road at number 3/395. This is in the Mannargudi area. Our company is made up of local farmers who have been working these fields for a long time. We aren't a big business with a lot of money; we are just people who know how to grow things. We set this up so we could handle our produce better. Dealing with the middle-men was always a struggle, so now we do things ourselves. The office on Edaiyarnatham Road is where we plan our schedules and talk about the crops. It's a bit dusty and full of agricultural stuff, not like a city office. We grow the usual things you find around Mannargudi and we try to keep our costs down. Everyone in the group has a say in how things are run. We aren't polished or corporate in any way. If you come by, you’ll probably see us arguing about the best time to plant or how the road conditions are affecting our deliveries. It’s a real, messy business because farming is never predictable. We have good years and bad years, and we just try to stick together through all of it. Our families have been here for generations, and we want to keep it that way. It’s about the soil, the water, and getting the work done every single day. We are just a group of friends and neighbors trying to make the most of our land.
