Arasalaru Farmer Producer Company Limited is just a small group of us here in Kadagambadi. We are right on Agrakaram Street, specifically at 4.16/2. It’s a busy little spot in Thiruvarur. Most days start early because that’s just how it is with farming. We handle things for the local growers around here. It isn't anything fancy, just a room where we keep the books and meet people. My cousin helps out with the paperwork sometimes when things get backed up. You can usually find someone sitting out front in the afternoons if the sun isn’t too hot. We deal with a lot of different crops depending on the season. The soil around Thiruvarur is good, but the rains can be tricky. We just try to make sure everyone gets a fair shake when it’s time to sell. It’s hard work and the days are long, but people know where to find us. We don’t have a big sign or anything like that, just the address 609503. If you come down Agrakaram Street, you'll see us near the middle. Most of the people working here grew up right in this area. We know the families and we know the land. It's more about getting through the week than anything else. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
