Sun Maker

You can find us over in Sreekaryam, which is a busy part of Thiruvananthapuram. Our place, Sun Maker, is right in the heart of the community here. We have been working in this area for a good while now. Most of our days are spent dealing with the heat and getting things ready for our customers. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a workspace where we keep our tools and materials. We are usually busy from the morning until the evening. Sreekaryam has a lot of traffic, so there is always a hum of buses and cars outside. We do a lot of manual work here. It involves a lot of measuring, cutting, and fixing things together. Our hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. We don't have a big team of sales people. Usually, it's just us doing the actual labor. Sometimes the Kerala rains slow us down, but we just wait it out and get back to it. We know the local streets and the people around here pretty well. We have had customers come back to us over the years because they know where we sit. It’s a straightforward life. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the job at hand and try to finish it properly. The shop can get a bit cluttered with leftover scraps, but that’s how a real workshop looks. We are just part of the local scenery in Thiruvananthapuram.
