It’s a quiet corner of the world, mostly residential and small plots of land. We started this because we wanted to focus on farming in a way that made sense for our local area. It isn't a massive operation, just a few of us making sure things grow like they're supposed to. The office is really just a part of the building where we keep our records and tools. Sometimes it’s hard to tell where the office ends and the farm begins because we’re always moving back and forth. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just look at what the land needs and try to provide it. People in Aduthala know us as the ones who are always out in the dirt. It’s a lot of physical work, and our hands are rarely clean. We don't mind that, though. It feels better to be doing something real. The rain can be a problem sometimes, flooding the lower parts, but we deal with it as best as we can. We've been at this address for a bit, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythms of the seasons here pretty well. We aren't interested in being fancy, just in doing the work that needs to be finished.
