Floragreen Farms Private Limited is out at the 6Th Mile Stone in Karakulam. If you are heading towards Peroorkada, you will pass right by us. We are in a part of the P.O. Karakulam area that still has a lot of trees and space. Our farm is where we spend most of our time, and the 6Th Mile Stone is the main landmark we tell people to look for. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, which is nice because it is quieter here. We focus on growing things and keeping the land green. The name Floragreen came from the fact that we like seeing things bloom. It’s not a high-tech facility. We use simple tools and a lot of manual labor to keep the plants healthy. Some days the rain is so heavy we can’t get much done, so we just sit under the shed and wait for it to pass. We have a small office for the paperwork, but we’d much rather be outside. The soil around here is pretty good, but it still takes a lot of effort to keep everything growing right. We are just a local farm and we don't have any big advertisements. People usually find us because they saw our sign near Peroorkada. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
