Lagoon Entertainment

Up on the first floor of the Sai Krishna building on Ssk Street, that’s where you’ll find Lagoon Entertainment. We’re in Kowdiar, which is a nice part of Thiruvananthapuram to be in. We do various types of entertainment work, mostly helping out with local shows or events. It’s not always glamorous. A lot of it is just carrying heavy equipment up the stairs or trying to get the sound cables to reach across a room. Our office at H 4 is where we keep all the gear and sit down to figure out the schedule. We aren't some big media house with millions of dollars. We’re just a small group of people who like the entertainment business. We’ve been in Kowdiar for a bit now and we know the local scene. Sometimes the speakers act up or the lights don't turn on when they should, and we have to scramble to fix it before the show starts. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure there’s some fun happening for the crowd. People in this city like their culture and their music, and we try to be a part of that. It’s practical, everyday work for us. If you walk past Ssk Street, you might see us loading a van. We’re just regular people trying to make the events here in Thiruvananthapuram a bit more lively.
