Grama Samrudhi Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based over at No.Pp 8/575 in Kurumkutty. This is in the Parassala area. Grama Samrudhi Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically just a bunch of us from around the village who decided to work together. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is a simple place where we meet to talk about the crops and how to sell them. Most days you will see a couple of us sitting there going through papers or checking on things. Parassala is a busy place but our corner in Kurumkutty is a bit more relaxed. We wanted to make sure the farmers here have a way to get things done without having to travel too far or deal with people who don't understand the soil. It is practical stuff. We deal with the seeds and the seasons just like everyone else. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it and that makes things stressful for everyone. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep things moving for the local families. The building isn't fancy but it serves its purpose for our meetings. If you are passing by Kurumkutty you might see the sign. We spend most of our time out in the fields anyway. That is where the real work happens. We just use the office to keep the records straight and have a tea. It's a simple life for us here and we like it.
