Eye Event Management

Eye Event Management is based in Vazhuthacaud, specifically near Raj Bhavan in the Althara area. We’ve been operating out of this part of Thiruvananthapuram for several years. Our work involves a lot of logistics for different kinds of gatherings. It could be a small birthday party or a larger meeting. The office is usually full of half-finished plans and phone numbers scribbled on scraps of paper. Vazhuthacaud is a central location, which helps when we need to run around the city to check on venues or talk to suppliers. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our work happens on-site or over the phone. Being an event manager means you have to deal with a lot of small details that most people don't think about, like where the trash cans go or if there are enough power outlets. Things rarely go exactly as planned, so we spend a lot of time fixing problems on the fly. It's a stressful job but we’ve gotten pretty good at it. We aren't a massive agency; it’s just a handful of us who work hard to make sure things happen. We know the local vendors and which halls are good for what. It’s just a practical business run by local people who know the city well.
