About Anjana Bakery – Event & Planning in Thiruvananthapuram
We’ve been running Anjana Bakery here at Jeeva Towers for a while now. If you know the Paravankunnu Junction area in Ambalathara, you've probably seen our sign while sitting in traffic. It’s not a huge place, just a regular local bakery where we try to keep the shelves stocked with whatever people need during the day. Most mornings start pretty early for us because the bread and buns need to be ready before the first rush of commuters stops by. We get a lot of people coming in for a quick tea or picking up a packet of biscuits on their way home. The kitchen in the back stays busy, especially in the afternoons when we're getting the snacks out. It can get a bit crowded when the school kids come by, but we manage. We aren't trying to do anything fancy or overcomplicate things. It is mostly just about having fresh stuff available for the neighborhood. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening, which is just how it goes when you bake things daily. My cousin helps out behind the counter, and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. If you are around Ambalathara and need a snack or some rusk for your evening chai, you can find us right there at the junction. It's a simple setup, nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the lights on and the oven going.
