Srv College

Srv College is situated in Saamiyappaya Nagar, which is part of Thiruthuraipoondi in the Thiruvarur district. It’s a bit of a drive to get here if you are coming from the bigger cities, but it’s a good, quiet location for the local students in this part of Tamil Nadu. The college consists of a few different buildings. We handle various courses and degrees for the young people here. It isn't a high-pressure environment like some of those crowded city colleges. Things move a bit slower in this town. We have classrooms that get plenty of natural light through the windows. The students usually come from the nearby towns and smaller villages. They arrive by the local bus or on their own bikes. We have a canteen that serves basic snacks and tea, which is where most people hang out between their lectures to talk. The grounds are kept reasonably clean, though the grass gets a bit dry and brown in the summer months when it doesn't rain much. Our focus is really just on getting the students through their exams and helping them learn the subjects they chose. We have some labs for the practical work that is required. It's just a practical, no-nonsense place for getting an education. People know us in Thiruvarur as a reliable spot that has been around for a while. We don't do much in the way of big events or fancy ceremonies. We just open up every morning and do the work that needs to be done.
