Kalaimagal Higher Secondary School

Kalaimagal Higher Secondary School is situated on M C Road, in the Housing Unit area of Thanjavur. It is a pretty established part of the city. The school has been around for quite a few years, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it is still in good shape. We have a lot of students who come from the nearby houses, so there is a real neighborhood feel to the place. We do not have any of those modern glass partitions or air-conditioned rooms. It is just standard classrooms with ceiling fans and big windows. We have a small playground where the kids gather, and it gets quite dusty when they are all running around. The teachers here have been part of the school for a long time and they have their own way of teaching that does not involve any fancy technology. We do not spend our time thinking about branding or marketing. We just make sure the students are in their seats and the lessons are being taught. During the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the roof can be quite loud, but we just talk a bit louder. It is a very honest and practical environment. The office is small and usually has a few parents waiting to talk about something. We handle everything as it comes without any corporate polish. It is just a regular higher secondary school that serves the people of Thanjavur as best as we can.
