We spend most of our time looking at land and figuring out how to develop it into something useful. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of mud, dust, and sitting in traffic to get from one plot to another. We started this company because we saw a lot of potential in this area. We aren't some big corporate entity with a hundred layers of management. If you call us, you usually get one of the owners or a lead staff member directly. We handle the local regulations, talk to the contractors, and try to keep everything on track. Sometimes things go sideways with a project, and we just have to buckle down and fix it. That’s the reality of development. We’ve been at this for a while and have learned that being honest about timelines is better than making promises we can't keep. The office is usually full of maps and site plans. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is.
