Vivek Saloon

Vivek Saloon is located in the Shubh Shanti Complex on Bhiwandi Station Road. This area is always full of energy because of the station being so close. We are right by Anjurphata, which is a major crossing point in Thane. The noise from the trucks and the commuters is constant, but once you step inside the complex and into our shop, it feels a lot more relaxed. The shop isn't huge but we have managed to fit everything we need into the space. We have the heavy barber chairs that click when you adjust them and a long counter with all the different combs and trimmers lined up in rows. Most of our customers are people who work in the local warehouses or commuters coming from the station who need to look sharp. We see a lot of the same faces every month. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing when we are working on a tricky fade or a close shave. We keep a stack of old newspapers on the table for people to read while they wait. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep working with the natural light from the door. It is a very normal, local business where we just focus on giving a decent haircut to whoever walks through the door in this busy part of Bhiwandi.
