1St Beauty

If you are down in Kalyan City, specifically around Ahilyabai Chowk, you might have seen our place, 1St Beauty. We are situated near the Raja Hotel and right opposite Prakash Dairy. That dairy is a good landmark because everyone knows where to get their milk there. Our shop isn't anything too huge, but it serves the people of Thane well enough. We have been here for a good bit of time now. The street gets quite crowded in the evenings, which is usually when we are the busiest. People stop in after their errands to get sorted out. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It is just a beauty parlor where we handle the usual stuff like hair and skin. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed because life in the city can be pretty stressful. You can hear the bikes and cars outside constantly, but inside it is just the sound of the equipment and some chat. Most of our regulars are folks from the nearby buildings who have been coming to us for years. We know their names and how they like things done. It is a simple setup, really. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure nobody is waiting too long in the chairs. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up late.
