Aayushi Hair & Beauty Salon & Bridal Studio & Classes is a mouthful of a name, but that’s just what we call it. We are tucked away in Shop No A/11 of the Govind Vihar Complex. This is over in Sarvoday Nagar, Badlapur East. If you know the old Vaishali Cinema, we are right behind it. It’s a busy little corner of Thane, especially with Yashwant Classes being so close by. We do a lot of different things here. Some days it’s just teaching a group of girls how to do makeup or style hair, and other days we are busy helping a bride get ready for her big day. It can get pretty cramped when we have a class going on at the same time as regular customers, but we make it work. Badlapur is a growing place, so there’s always someone new moving in who needs a haircut or a threading job. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and the regulars know exactly where to find us. It isn’t a high-end studio with shiny floors; it’s more of a practical place where we work hard and talk a lot with the people who come in. We just stick to the basics and try to help people learn a trade if they’re in the classes. It’s a local shop run by local people, just trying to keep the schedule full and the customers happy enough to come back.
