Ajantha Unisex Salon

Ajantha Unisex Salon is tucked away in Konark Tower, specifically at Shop No 10/12. If you know Thane West, you probably know the Teen Petrol Pump area. We are right behind it. Being opposite Dharma Veer Market means there's always something going on outside on Ram Ganesh Gadkari Road. It’s a busy part of town. We handle both men and women here. The space isn't huge, but we’ve arranged the mirrors and chairs to make it work. It feels like a second home to most of us who work here. We've had some of the same customers since we first opened our doors. They come for a haircut and stay to talk about the local news. We don't use any high-end jargon. It’s just a place to get your grooming done. Sometimes the electricity acts up in the heat, but we manage. Being near the market helps because people can finish their shopping and then drop in for a quick trim. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in Thane, just a reliable one. The floor gets swept many times a day. We like the neighborhood vibe here. It’s noisy, lively, and very real. It's been a good few years at this location, and we hope to stay for many more. The walls are a light shade that’s started to peel a bit near the corner where the water pipes are. We don't mind it much. The mirrors are the most important part anyway. We keep them clean so you can see what's happening.
