Aakar Beauty Parlour

Aakar Beauty Parlour. Our place is in Chhadva Sadan, specifically rooms 101 and 201. It is located in the Wagle Industrial Estate area of Thane West. Shanti Nagar is right there too. It is a bit of an interesting spot for a parlour, being in an industrial estate, but it works for us. We have the usual setup with mirrors, chairs, and all the various bottles and jars you would expect. The building itself, Chhadva Sadan, is older and has a lot of stairs to climb. We spend most of our time with the local ladies who live around Shanti Nagar. It is a place where people come to chat as much as they do to get their hair done or whatever else. We do not have a corporate feel at all. It is just us and the regulars. The 400604 area code is where we are settled. Some days are very quiet and we just sit and wait, and other days everyone seems to show up at once. We have to keep things tidy, but there is always a bit of talcum powder or some hair on the floor during the busy hours. Thane West has grown a lot, but this corner of the Wagle Industrial Estate feels familiar to us. We have got the two rooms, so we can move between them depending on what we are doing. It is a simple life at Aakar, just helping people look a bit neater. We have been here for a while and like the neighborhood.
