Our little office is Shop No. 3 in the DhanDurga Building, right there near Uthalsar Naka in Thane West. It is a pretty handy spot for us because it is easy for people to find once they are in the neighborhood. We have been focusing on infrastructure work for a good while now, mostly dealing with the basic nuts and bolts of local projects. It gets quite noisy outside with all the traffic passing by, but we have gotten used to the sound over the years. This office isn't anything fancy or high-end, just a practical space where we can get our planning done and meet with the guys from the sites. We handle a lot of that behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into fixing and building things around the city. Mostly, it is just us keeping track of supplies and making sure the crews have whatever they need to keep working. Sometimes we are out on a site more than we are actually in the shop, but there is usually someone around to answer the door. We like being based in Thane because the whole area is moving so fast these days. There is always another project starting or a road being improved somewhere nearby. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a lot of phone calls and checking documents to make sure everything lines up correctly.
