We’ve been running the academy here at J/85 in Model Colony for a good number of years now. It’s a nice enough spot in Thane, though the traffic on the main road can get pretty loud during the evening rush. The building itself is just a regular place where we set up some classrooms and a small area for parents to wait. I usually get in early to open the shutters and make sure the benches are wiped down before the first batch of students arrives. It isn't a massive institution with hundreds of staff, just a few of us who know the subjects well. We started this because there weren't many options for extra coaching in this part of the colony. Most of the kids come from the nearby apartment blocks. We don't have a big marketing budget or any of those polished brochures. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or just by seeing the sign when they walk past. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when everyone shows up at once, but we manage. The walls are covered with old charts and some schedules we taped up months ago. It feels like a real workplace, not a corporate office. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the students understand what’s being taught. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
