Badlapur Teachers Training College (D.T.Ed .)

You can find us over at Yadavnagar, specifically on Plot No 11, Survey No 45. It’s part of the Hissa No-1 area here in Badlapur. Badlapur Teachers Training College (D.T.Ed .) is a place where we help locals get their teaching certificates. Thane is a big place, but our little corner is usually pretty quiet. We have classrooms set up for the future teachers to practice their lessons. It isn’t a very big college, but it serves the neighborhood well enough. The 421503 area is where most of our staff lives too. We spend our days going over curriculum stuff and making sure the student teachers know how to manage a classroom. The building is simple and doesn't have much in the way of decoration, but it’s sturdy. We have been here long enough that most people in Badlapur know where the plot is. Sometimes the roads around here get a bit dusty in the summer, but that’s just how it is. It’s a decent place to spend a few years learning how to work in schools. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics like blackboards and desks. People usually just show up, do their work, and head home to their families. It’s a very local kind of place with no real surprises. During the monsoon, the rain hits the roof pretty hard, making it a bit loud during lectures. We often share some snacks in the staff room when the weather is nice.
