Birla College

Birla College has been a fixture in Kalyan for a long time. If you live around the 421301 area, you probably know where we are without even looking at a map. The campus is usually buzzing with students from early morning. Since we're in Maharashtra, the humidity can be a bit much sometimes, especially when everyone is trying to get to their classes at once. The buildings have that older feel to them, which some people like and others find a bit plain, but they’ve held up well over the years. We see a lot of students coming in from different parts of the city, and the local trains nearby always bring a steady flow of people. Our office staff is usually busy with paperwork or answering the same questions about forms and dates, but they try to get through it. It’s not a quiet place by any means. Between the traffic noise from the streets and the chatter in the corridors, there’s always something going on. We have a canteen that gets pretty packed during lunch hours, and you can usually smell the tea and snacks from down the hall. We just focus on keeping the place organized so the students can get their work done. It’s a lot of work to manage everything, from the libraries to the exam schedules, but we just take it one day at a time.
