Our pharmacy college is situated in Sector-8 of C.B.D. Belapur, which is a pretty well-known area in Navi Mumbai. It’s a bit of a climb because of the hilly terrain around here, but the view is decent. The building is quite sturdy and looks like a typical educational institution from the outside. Inside, it’s all about the labs. You can usually find students in their white lab coats, busy with beakers and various chemicals, trying to get their experiments right. It’s a very practical sort of place. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or polishing our image. The focus is mainly on the coursework and making sure the lab equipment is working okay. Navi Mumbai has a bit more space than the main city, so it doesn't feel as cramped, but it’s still busy. The staff room is always a bit messy with papers and books piled up on the desks. We eat our lunch together and talk about the upcoming exams or the new batches of students coming in. The commute for most people involves the local trains or the BEST buses that run through Belapur. It’s a straightforward environment where the goal is just to learn the science of medicine. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls, just the class schedules and some safety posters in the labs. It’s a good, honest place for anyone looking to study pharmacy in this part of Maharashtra.
