Vidyas Beauty Salon

My name is Vidya and I run Vidyas Beauty Salon. My shop is No 20 in the Floora Co-Operative Housing Society. It’s right in the Waghbil area on Ghodbunder Road. If you are taking the bus, we are very close to the Garden Court bus stop. I chose this spot in Hiranandani Estate because it’s where I live too. It’s a small shop, mostly just me working there most days. I do all the basic beauty work like waxing, threading, and simple hair cuts. I don’t have a big fancy menu of services. I just do what I know best. The shop is tucked away a bit, so it stays fairly quiet compared to the main road. I keep a few magazines for people to read, though they might be a bit old now. Most of my clients are ladies from the society or the buildings nearby. We usually end up chatting about our kids or what’s happening in the neighborhood while I work. It’s a very informal place. I don’t like those stiff, professional salons where no one talks. Here, it’s just like visiting a friend. I try to keep my tools very clean and I use brands that I would use on myself.
