Our shop is on the first floor of the Abhivadan Building. We are right in Thane West, which is always crowded. If you come by train, you know how busy the station area gets. We are just opposite Jankalyan Bank, so it’s easy to find us once you get out of the crowd. Being on the first floor is nice because we can see the street below without all the noise coming right inside. We have been here for a good amount of time. The office feels a bit like a second home because we spend more hours here than anywhere else. We start the day by cleaning the glass cases and setting things up. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we have some staff. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people who come in are just locals from Thane or people passing through the station. The building is a bit old, but it works for us. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. The lights are bright so we can see the work clearly. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep at the end of a long day. We just keep doing what we do, day after day. It’s honest work and we like being part of this neighborhood. Thane has grown so much, but this corner feels familiar.
