Classic Diamonds (India) Ltd.

Our place is in Mira Road East, over in Sector-3. We are in the Shantinagar area, specifically in building C-20, room 103. It is a bit of a trek from the main part of Mumbai, but we like it here in Thane. We deal with diamonds, which sounds very glamorous to some people, but for us, it’s just our daily business. There is a lot of looking at stones, checking for quality, and handling all the paperwork that comes with precious materials. We aren't a big retail shop with shiny displays. This is more of an office where we handle the business side of things. The neighborhood is mostly families and other small businesses, so it stays pretty busy throughout the day. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we’ve seen Mira Road change quite a bit since we first moved in. It’s a lot more crowded now than it used to be. Our office is small and functional, with enough security for what we do. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people we work with have known us for years. It’s a trust-based business, so we just try to be consistent and do our work without any drama. The lights in the office are quite bright because we need to see clearly when we are examining things. Sometimes the local kids are playing outside in the hallway of the society, and you can hear them laughing while we work.
