K. M. Diamond Tools

We work out of No. 114 B/2 in the New Rajshree Industrial Estate. It’s near Lawkim on Ghodbunder Road in the Manpada area. It’s a proper industrial spot, so there are always sounds of machinery, metal clanging, and trucks reversing around us. We make and handle diamond tools. It’s a gritty kind of job, to be honest. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal dust or cooling fluid. We have our machines lined up and we spend most of the day operating them or checking the output to make sure it's right. It’s not a place for suits or ties. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty every single day. The commute to Ghodbunder Road can be a real pain with the traffic, but we’re here early every morning to start the machines. The unit isn't very large, but we’ve organized it so we can move around between the benches without bumping into each other. We focus on getting the tools right for the customers who need them. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it ourselves. It’s just how it goes in a place like this. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just provide the tools that other people need for their own work. It’s practical, hard work, and it keeps us busy until late evening. We like it that way.
