If you are near the Cinemax Cinemas in Kalyan City, you can find Up2Date Saloon. We are located in Radha Nagar, which is a part of Thane. Being close to the cinema means there are always people around, especially on the weekends when new movies come out. The shop is a regular saloon where we do haircuts, shaves, and other grooming for men. It’s a small place, but it gets the job done. I chose the name because I try to keep up with the styles people ask for. The address is 421301. I spend most of my day standing by the chair with my scissors and comb. It’s hard work on the feet, but I’ve been doing it for years now. Radha Nagar is a good neighborhood with lots of families. I don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of good fans to keep the air moving. It’s an honest way to make a living. I keep the shop open late because that's when most people have time to stop by. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. Just a simple door and a place to sit while you wait for your turn.
