Being inside a housing society makes it feel very safe and tucked away. We have little kids running around most of the morning. There are toys scattered in the corners and drawings taped to the walls. It’s a preschool, so it’s never really quiet. We also do daycare, so some kids stay with us until their parents get back from work in the evening. Airoli is a busy part of Navi Mumbai, but our little corner is a bit softer. We have a routine for naps and snacks. The staff here are mostly local women who live nearby. We know the parents well because we see them every single day. Yashodeep Heights is a nice building. We have a bit of space for activities too. It’s not a huge facility, but it’s enough for what the children need. We don’t have a fancy marketing team. We just take care of the kids and make sure they are fed and happy. Sometimes the kids get cranky, but that’s just part of the job. We enjoy the noise. It feels like a second home for a lot of us. We just keep things moving along. We often have to scrub crayon marks off the floor at the end of the day.
