The Engineers

You can find us over at 13 Gandhi Bldg. on Akurli Road. We go by The Engineers, and the setup we have here is about as practical as it gets. Akurli Road is almost always humming with some kind of activity, which definitely keeps us on our toes during the day. The building itself is one of the older ones in the neighborhood, but it is sturdy and gives us all the space we need. We don't have fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets that don't actually get used. Everything in our office has a specific purpose. We spend a lot of time looking at plans or fixing various problems that pop up throughout the week. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We don't really use big corporate words or try to impress anyone with fancy talk. If someone asks what we do, we just tell them we are the engineers from the Gandhi building. Most of our days are spent just working through the long list of tasks that need to be finished. The noise from the road is just background music to us now. We have a small team, and everyone knows their job without having to sit through a bunch of useless meetings. It is a direct way of working. We show up, put in the hours, and make sure things are built or fixed correctly. There is a lot of satisfaction in just doing the job and seeing it through to the end.
