Comber Engineering Pvt Ltd is based out of Flat No 103, Building No 15 in the Highland Residency complex. This is in Dhokali, Thane West, under the 400 607 pin code. Latha Iyer is the name on the door here. It is a residential area, so it stays relatively quiet during the day which is good for us. The building is part of a larger residency, so there are plenty of families and other small businesses around. Our space is basically an apartment that we have turned into a working area. It has everything we need, from a small kitchen area to a couple of rooms for the desks. We don't have a corporate feel at all. It feels more like working from home but with a full team. We usually keep the balcony doors open to let in some air, though the Thane heat can be a bit much sometimes. We follow a simple schedule and don't bother with a lot of formalities. Getting to the Highland Residency is pretty easy since it’s a well-known spot in Dhokali. We like being in this part of Thane because it is not as chaotic as the main city center. Our work keeps us busy, and we just handle things one day at a time. There are no big mission statements on the walls, just a few calendars and some technical notes. It is a plain, functional workspace for a small group. It works for us.
