Swami Vivekanand Junior College Of Science & Commerce is located at Plot No 30 in Sector 5 of Kopar Khairane. This part of Navi Mumbai is always buzzing with students, especially since there are many coaching centers nearby. Our college building is a simple structure that has been part of this neighborhood for years. We have floors dedicated to science and others for commerce students. The labs have all the usual equipment like beakers and microscopes, though they look well-used. In the commerce section, you will mostly see students working on their accounts and math problems. The hallways are wide enough, but they get packed during the break times when everyone wants a snack. We do not have a massive auditorium or a sports field; students usually just hang out in the common areas or the nearby lanes. The office is where all the admissions and hall tickets are sorted out, and there is always a queue during the exam season. The fans hum constantly to deal with the Mumbai heat. We are just a regular junior college where local teenagers come to finish their 11th and 12th standards. It is a noisy, energetic place because that is just how junior colleges are. We don't try to be anything special, just a place for students to study their subjects and prepare for whatever comes next after their board exams are over.
