Sun-Up Packaging is located over in the TTC Industrial Area in Rabale. We actually have two plots, R-268 and R-960/II, which gives us a decent amount of room for all the machinery and parts we keep on hand. This part of Navi Mumbai is pretty much all industrial, so there is always a truck idling nearby or the sound of a forklift moving pallets. It is not the kind of place you come for a quiet walk. We spend our days working on packaging machinery, which means there is a lot of heavy lifting and technical adjustments. The workshop is organized in a way that only makes sense to us. There are piles of components and half-finished frames everywhere. We have a small office section where the paperwork gets handled, but the real work happens on the floor. The heat in the MIDC road area can be pretty intense in the summer, so we tend to start early to get the worst of it out of the way. We are just a group of people who enjoy mechanical work and seeing things come together. We have been at this for a long time, so we have seen all kinds of changes in the local area. Despite the noise and the grime, we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It is a solid place to work and we know all the neighbors.
