You can find Swami Samarth Pet Industries over in Vasai East, in the Shiv Shambhu Industrial Estate. We are in Building N O5, which is quite close to the old Burmashell petrol pump in Vill Valiv. We work with plastics, specifically making bottles and containers for various uses. The machines run pretty much all day, so there’s a constant humming sound in the building. It’s a busy place with bags of raw plastic pellets stacked up against the walls. We’ve been operating here for a while, and it’s mostly a family-run kind of setup. We don't have any fancy corporate titles; we all just do whatever needs to be done, whether it’s packing boxes or fixing a jammed machine. The floor is usually covered in those little plastic bits that escape the bins, no matter how much we sweep. It’s not the cleanest environment, but it’s a working factory. We don't have a big sales team, so most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. We just focus on getting the orders out the door and loaded onto the trucks. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back, which can be a real nuisance when we are busy. But otherwise, we just keep going. It’s a simple business making things people use in their homes.
