Being located in Phase II of the MIDC in Dombivli East means we are surrounded by factories and big warehouses. Our address is W-186 (A). It’s an industrial vibe out here. The roads can be pretty rough, especially after the monsoon. We spend our days dealing with heavy units, so the space is mostly filled with iron racks and tools. Powermax Inverters & Ups Systems is a name we’ve used for years. The shop floor is always a bit cool because of the high ceilings, which is nice in the summer. We get a lot of workers from the nearby units stopping by just to chat or ask for directions. It’s a noisy place with the sound of machines from the neighbors, but you get used to it after a week or two. We usually have tea brought in from the small canteen near the gate. The paperwork stays on a small wooden desk that’s seen better days. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s a practical workspace for practical work. Moving these heavy batteries and systems takes a lot of effort, so we are usually pretty tired by the time evening rolls around. Getting home from Dombivli East can take a while if you hit the traffic wrong, but that’s part of the routine of working in an industrial zone like this one.
