WARTSILA INDIA LTD

Our office is way up on the 21st floor of the Kesar Solitare Building in Sanpada. It is right on Palm Beach Road, which is one of the nicer stretches of road to drive on around here. The view from this high up is actually quite something; you can see the water and the mangroves stretching out towards the city. Because we are so high up, the wind sometimes whistles through the window frames when there is a storm. The building is quite modern and looks very professional from the outside with its blue glass. Inside, it is just a normal workspace with a lot of computers and some meeting rooms that we use when we need to talk quietly. We have a small pantry where people heat up their food or make a quick coffee. The atmosphere at WARTSILA INDIA LTD is usually pretty focused, though we do have some laughs during the lunch hour. It is a long commute for some of our staff who live in other parts of Mumbai, but the office itself is a good place to spend the day. The parking basement is always a bit confusing because it has so many levels. We like being in Navi Mumbai because it feels a bit more open than the crowded streets of the main city. It is a steady place to work and get things done.
